WORK FOR THE ELDERLY
I haven’t heard from Donna since the Los Angeles Angels game so I thought I would give her a call today and see how she was doing. It seems as though she is running her self ragged doing errands for old people. Donna had always seemed to want to do work for the elderly so she was finally getting her chance. She basically just ran errands for them. I guess seeing that lady die at the game really had an impact on her. Fortunately, I have not heard of anyone dying lately at plays or sporting events. I am looking forward to going to the Sox game with Joe. I looked in on my neighbor Mike to see if he wanted anything. With his foot being shot, it is hard for him to get around. He said he could use some whiskey. Mike only drinks the good stuff, though. I naturally went up to Don’s to get him Jack Daniels. “Graduated to the expensive stuff did you?” said a voice behind me. It was Bill. I realized that not only was he back off the wagon, but he felt that I was drinking, too. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that the reason I was there was because of a faulty gun rack made out of deer hooves that almost shot off the foot of my neighbor.
