I was certain that my insurance company was in breach of our contract. I pay them quite a bit of money each month for the coverage that I need, and from what I’ve seen in the contract – what I’m going through is something that should most certainly be covered. My insurance company, however, is denying the claims and in the meantime the bills are piling up. In light of all of this, I’ve contacted a firm of Chicago long term care benefits attorneys, lawyers that are truly experts on this topic, to help my with my problem. After the initial review of my information, the lawyers from the firm seem to be in agreement with me on the fact that the insurance company should indeed be covering all of the bills that are currently coming in. I really had no intention of letting this situation come to this, I’m not the type of person who generally looks to a lawsuit to solve his problems but I didn’t feel that the insurance company was leaving me any other option – their representatives wouldn’t even return my calls to discuss the matter. I wouldn’t be paying the outlandish monthly charges of the insurance company if they weren’t going to cover me, so I’m certainly not going to pay these bills that are coming in, that’s why I’m paying for insurance. Hopefully now that I have legal counsel, the insurance company will relent and begin paying the bills so it doesn’t affect my finances.
