IN LINE FOR PROMOTION
I think I’m in line for a promotion at work finally. Our profits have gone up and I know that I’m the one responsible and I even made sure that everyone else knows I’m responsible by sending every an email thanking them for helping me with this project. I’m the one who hired those Chicago email marketing experts and gave them such important roles the company’s advertising scheme. Sure, they’re the ones who came up with the new marketing strategy and they’re the ones who implemented it, but I’m the one who hired them. Get it? They would have done nothing without me. They wouldn’t even have jobs to go to every single day of the week. They have me to thank for everything. I might not be signing off on every single little thing they do, but deep down they know who’s really in charge. I was their inspiration and guiding light. And I’m willing to share at least a little of the credit. Everybody plays their own parts. It’s just that the part I played was bigger and most more pivotal than anyone else’s. All I want is what’s due me. I’ve had this coming for a long time anyway. Where would this company be without me?
